The state of customer marketing: Inside the customer marketing manifesto
Customer marketing, as a profession, is at an inflection point.
According to Forrester, the most “customer obsessed” brands see an average of 33% higher profit growth and 43% higher customer retention, among a myriad of other benefits.
However, the 2024 State of Customer Marketing report reveals that Customer Marketing roles are not understood by other teams.
In fact, when converted to NPS, customer marketing received a score of -60 (yes, negative 60!).
